How Animal Communication Sessions Work

The Process

Most consultations are conducted over the telephone. It is not necessary for your companion to be in the same place that you are when the consultation takes place. To start out, you describe your animal companion to me physically. I ask very specific questions, such as the breed, weight, eye color, age, and any distinguishing markings. Do you remember where that white spot is exactly?  This could be important information with which I can make a connection. With more details and complete information, I am better able to connect with your companion animal.

Scheduling and Payment

I prefer to schedule consultation appointments that are convenient for both you and me. The standard consultation on the phone is about  half an hour; the fee is $2/minute. If you have more than one animal, I can usually talk to at least two animals during the half hour. I will take emergency calls without an appointment. I also use flower essences to assist in bringing your companion animal into balance. The charge for a custom flower essence blend (if indicated) is $20.

I accept paypal, checks, and cashier checks. I use the honor system in making payments.  Therefore, prompt payment is greatly appreciated.  I also do in home visits. If you would like me to personally visit you & your animals, please call for rates and availability.

Kinds of Questions That I Answer

I frequently answer questions about health matters, medical conditions, nutrition, behavior problems, performance (for working or competing animals), end-of-life matters, inter-animal compatibility, lifestyle changes, choosing the right animal, and mysterious behaviors. I can also talk to animals who have passed over into the Spirit realm.

Animal Nutrition

For the past 9+ years, I have been researching the best nutrition for our companion animals. My dog Sadie was my inspiration for this nutritional quest. When she decided to come live with us, I decided that I wanted to give her the best food possible. In my research, I read many books about animal nutrition and participated in groups discussing animal nutrition.

After several months of reading and talking, I came to the conclusion that for some dogs and cats, the raw diet is best. There is abundant data to support the benefits of the raw diet. Some valuable books about the raw diet are:

  • Give Your Dog a Bone, Ian Billinghurst
  • Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats-The Ultimate Diet, Kymythy R. Schultze
  • Foods Pets Die For, Ann N. Martin
  • Holistic Guide for a Healthy Dog, Wendy Volhard & Kerry Brown, DVM
  • Natural Health for Dogs and Cats, Richard Pitcairn, DVM

Not all dogs (or cats) can eat a raw diet. There are many high quality dry foods on the market now. The highest quality foods can usually be found in a local, specialty pet store - not usually in the bigger chain stores.

Pet Sitting

I offer pet sitting services in my neighborhood in northwest Austin. I specialize in animals that need special attention or medical treatment. Please call for details!
